Meet the Big Brothers Big Sisters Class of 2023

This year, five individuals in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program at Family Services of NW PA graduated from high school. We are beyond proud of their hard work and accomplishments. Please join us in celebrating their success.

Kendra

Kendra has been matched with Big Sister Christine for 13 years. She graduated from Cathedral Prep and will be attending Gannon University to major in Psychology. Here is what Kendra had to say about her experience with Big Brothers Big Sisters:

"There are no words I can say to thank Big Brothers Big Sisters enough for pairing me with Christine. Chris has taught me so much about life, friendships, relationships, and so much more. I could never imagine my life without Chris, she has been an amazing role model. I appreciate her so much for being a mentor and accepting me no matter what!"

Shauna

Shauna and her Big Sister Jennifer have been matched for six years. Shauna graduated from Collegiate Academy and will be attending Clarion University to major in Early Childhood Education. Here is what Shauna had to say about Jen:

"I greatly appreciate everything the Big Brothers Big Sisters program has done. Jen has been an amazing, inspirational, and kind big sister. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to be matched with!"

Hunter

Hunter and Big Brother Mark have been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters for nine years. Hunter graduated from Cathedral Prep and will attend Gannon University to major in Cyber Security. Here is what Hunter said about Mark:

"I want to thank Big Brothers Big Sisters for all they have done for me over the many years I've been in the program. While Mark was not my first big, I am glad he is the one who stuck with me over these last 9 years. Not only have I learned so much knowledge from him, he has also done so much for me as well. Thanks for being there for me whenever I needed it, Mark!"
