Austin Harris, BS Psychology

Therapist & Lead Drug and Alcohol Clinician

Austin is a Therapist and the Lead Drug and Alcohol Clinician at the Center for Counseling and Wellness at Family Services of NW PA. In this role, Austin provides trauma-informed therapy and casework services to individuals, families, and groups. He also guides evidence-based interventions for substance use disorders, mentoring colleagues in best practices and coordinating care with community partners to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

In addition to earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Penn State, Austin has professional experience in counseling, case management, and behavioral health support across both hospital and community-based settings. Prior to joining the team at Family Services of NW PA, he worked with diverse populations to promote recovery and emotional wellness.

Austin enjoys health and fitness, focusing on strength training and overall wellness. Outside of work, Austin values continuous learning and self-improvement, whether practicing French, going to art museums, or exploring subjects such as science, history, and astrology. He especially loves dance music, Fortnite, coffee, fashion, and travel.
