POSITION SUMMARY:
The Therapist in the Family Behavior Therapy program provides in-home therapy to help meet the needs of families. Ability to effectively manage self in crisis situations is important. Day and evenings hours are required.
JOB DUTIES:
- Employs a variety of techniques and modalities to assist the family in change and learning new skills.
- Interviews assigned families in client's home on a regular basis.
- Maintains case records and reports in a timely manner as required in agency policy.
- Maintains collateral relationship with other agencies, participates in case staffing and attends meetings with other funding sources as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or social sciences required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
