Interdependent Living Program
The goal of the Interdependent Living Program is to provide all adolescents making the transition from placement to independent living/adulthood with the supports, skills and resources necessary to make them self-sufficient and productive members of society.
Through combined efforts, Family Services of NW PA and Erie County Office of Children and Youth have designed and implemented services that include individual counseling, life skills groups, assistance in enrolling in higher education, job preparation and retainment skills training and assistance with obtaining suitable housing.
Who Should Be Referred?
- Be in placement on or after their 16th birthday
- Eligibility continues to the age of 21
- Be unmarried
- Be referred by Erie County Office of Children and Youth (OCY)
