In-home family therapy program for at-risk and incorrigible youth.
Functional Family Therapy is a home-based prevention and intervention program that provides therapy to families. The FFT Model of treatment includes three phases of treatment including: engagement/motivation, behavior change and generalization. FFT services are typically provided for 1-3 hours per week over the course of a three-four month period. The goals of FFT include empowering the parents and other family members in order to create behavioral changes which will allow the identified client to remain in his/her own home and community. FFT is appropriate for at-risk children between the ages of 10 and 18 and their families, with a range of problems including Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, other severe acting-out behaviors, and substance abuse.

- Youth exhibiting acting-out or incorrigible behaviors
- The youth is able to remain in his/her own home and there must be at least one caregiver willing to participate
