The R-Turn Youth Advisory Board

The R-Turn Youth Advisory Board was created to help advocate for youth who are in foster care. The group was established in March of 2005 and has since held a successful dinner, joined the State Youth Advisory Board and sent surveys to the Independent Living participants. Our members have been featured speakers at the foster/adoptive/kinship training sessions, the new caseworker orientations and at the foster parent association meeting. We spoke at these sessions to inform the care givers about the changing needs and concerns of teenagers in foster care

The board meets once a month. We, the board, are here to meet your needs and address your concerns. All responses are completely confidential. We are are interested in hearing your questions, comments and concerns regarding ILP, foster care, placement, etc. We will respond to you.
