Adoption SearchIndividuals who were previously adopted through Family Services of NW PA and are 18 years of age or older, may contact the agency to request an Adoption Search. An Adoption Search is when information is provided to an adoptee within the constraints of the Adoption law.
Who Can Request A Search?
- Must have been adopted through Family Services of NW PA
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must prove identity
- If you live in the area, you must appear in person with photo identification
- If you live out of the area, you must have a letter detailing your request for information and it must be notarized
